Edward Preston Spokeshave 1377
The Edward Preston spokeshave 1377 is another of the distinctive and unique designs.
The shave has almost straight handles decorated with a pattern made-up of a series
of cirles. It also has a decorative faceplate with the markings 'E.Preston & Sons'.
This spokeshave appears to be quite rare. I haven't seen many of this spokeshave
model and this rareness is also backed up by the fact it appears not many retailers
sold this pattern; all of the trade catalogues I own do not have this spokeshave
listed.
Aesthetically this is my favourite of the Preston spokeshave designs.
